Get Started with Instagram Reels Templates
Instagram is testing a new tool to make creating Reels even easier!
You can check out our recent reel here that we created using the new template feature.
How it works: Instagram presets times that go along with a song or another trend on the app, and users can plug in their own photos or videos to match. The selected users who have access to the feature can tap "Use Template" while creating a Reel, and then they're guided through the process of replicating a specific Reel.
Want an easy place to start?
Choose a reel that has a template already. Use our recent reel as a starting point. You can choose 6 photos (or short videos) to feature—this could be photos of work you’ve done, or anything that inspires you.
First, save the audio file to your Instagram account, (you can do that by clicking on the audio which is highlighted in yellow in the screenshot) then click “USE TEMPLATE” on our reels example (see red arrow in the screenshot).
Apply your 6 photos at the present spots.
Review, refine, and post!
