SHD Marketing College Internship Program: A Hands-On, High-Growth Internship for Emerging Marketers
At SHD Marketing, our internship program is designed to give rising marketing professionals a true inside look at agency life. Over the course of nine immersive weeks, interns gain exposure to the full spectrum of services we provide—brand strategy, visual branding, web design and development, social media, email marketing, SEO, copywriting, event marketing, and more.
This is not a shadowing experience. It’s a robust, thoughtfully structured program built to offer meaningful hands-on work, real client interaction, and direct mentorship from our team.
Program Overview
Dates: May 25 – July 31
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10 AM–4 PM (Fridays off)
Holiday: Week of July 4 off
Compensation: Unpaid, educational internship
Our interns step into the day-to-day of a working marketing agency. From internal strategy meetings to client calls and on-site visits, you’ll see how ideas become campaigns—and how campaigns become results.
You’ll also identify your specific areas of interest, allowing us to tailor additional mentorship and project exposure to your goals.

Comprehensive Weekly Curriculum
Each intern follows a detailed syllabus outlining weekly goals, daily assignments, and project objectives to ensure steady progress and skill development. Supporting resources provide context, instructions, and examples for each task.
The structure is designed to simulate the workflow of a boutique marketing agency—fast-paced, creative, collaborative, and client-centered.
Mentorship & Professional Development
Our team is committed to helping interns grow as marketers and professionals. The program includes:
Weekly full-team meetings
Weekly intern check-ins for support and guidance
Mid-internship 1:1 meetings with Susan
End-of-internship performance review with Susan and the program lead
Evaluation based on a standardized rubric completed by the SHD Marketing team
Additionally, each team member hosts a specialized “deep-dive” session in their area of expertise—graphic design, social media management, paid ads, web design, copywriting, SEO, strategy, and more—giving interns a well-rounded view of the marketing landscape.
